Kiwi beanie
Kiwi beanie
The beanie is basic and knitted in a stockinette stitch to go with various outfits. You start by casting on the beanie using the so-called provisional cast-on technique. Then you knit the fold up edge of the beanie, which is later knitted together with the stitches created from your initial cast-on. Finally, decreases are worked to give the beanie a nice shape.
The beanie is knitted with a positive ease to avoid compressing the hair excessively. This is especially convenient on days when you want to take off the beanie without worrying about your hair. If you desire a tighter fit, you can choose a smaller size.
The folded edge of the beanie provides extra protection by creating three layers of wool that shield the ears from cold wind. This offers both warmth and comfort during chilly days.
